Scott & Tanya Card RV9A build log (N4822C)

We faxed the fuselage order to Vans today. There is a 10 week wait for it to ship. The options went something like this:

• dual brakes
• two external steps
• electric aileron trim
• Tip-up canopy!

Did you catch that last one! This is where I had to finally end the never ending question of “Tip-up or Sliding canopy?” I’m not going to go into why. Just rest assured that I had many sleepless nights over it. Right now I’m claiming that it was a coin toss that decided (although not really) just so I don’t have to talk about it any more :).

We received confirmation of our reserved registration number (tail number) from the FAA. It is: N4822C This wasn’t our first choice, but I think it will do fine.
