Vans order / Parking brake
I received a Vans order that I placed. This included a parking brake valve. I think I’m going to make a new brake fitting bracket (maybe out of F-697) to replace the stock one on the firewall to mount the valve. We’ll see how that goes, but I needed the valve to start thinking about it. I’ll probably be doing something like with Tom Moore did.
- The control cable could be McMaster #6161K11 Turn-to-Lock (05-15000 at ACSpruce) assembly with a cable end “B” nut (ACS #05-16245).
- The attach bolts (2) will be AN3-11 or 12 depending on the mounting bracket.
I’ll also probably look into using braided stainless brake lines like Jeff did. Looks like the lines can be had from Bonaco Inc.

Received locking control cable assembly from ACS and aluminum section (F-697) from Vans for bracket fabrication.
